 Welcome, paddling pals!

Surfing demands your body to be flexible, stable, fluid, and strong! Time in the water can leave your shoulders tight, neck kinked, and low-back stiff. Surfing is also somewhat of an asymmetrical sport, with repetitive movements that create imbalances in your hips.

Smart, sport-specific yoga can offset the demands of surfing and provide the balanced range of movement a healthy body needs. We’ll teach you how to be a better surfer by strengthening, stabilizing, and mobilizing your hardest-working muscles so you can keep chasing waves day after day.

I’ve surfed my whole life, but as I’m getting older, stiff shoulders and a sore low-back sometimes keep me out of the water. Since practicing with Motive, I feel more fluid and my shoulder pain is almost non-existent.
