An 8-Day Women’s Health and Wellness Retreat

On Hawai‘i’s Big Island, the volcano shapes the land in cycles of fire and renewal—powerful, unpredictable, and deeply life-giving. In much the same way, the female body moves through its own dynamic rhythms: the flow of hormones, shifting tides of energy, and the transitions that shape a woman’s journey through youth, fertility, and the wisdom years. Both island and body remind us that change is not only natural, but essential for growth and vitality.

And just as the island remains rooted to the ocean floor, we can anchor ourselves in the foundations of health to navigate the fluctuations of womanhood with steadiness and grace.

This 8-day retreat, designed exclusively for women, uses evidence-based cirriculum to cut through the noise of trends. Guided by Dr. Kellie Moore, ND, psychologist Bia, and yoga teacher Bree Dillon, E-RYT, you’ll explore your body’s unique physiology, engage in mindful movement practices, and nourish yourself with intentional, wholesome foods. Each day we’ll tap into the island’s vital energy as we blend experiential workshops, restorative rituals, and opportunities for deep connection with yourself and a community of women.

Wake to the sound of waves. Breathe the tropical air. Sink your feet in the sand. Move your body powerfully and mindfully. Eat nourishing food. Swim in the ocean. Nap in a hammock. Laugh and learn with new friends. And repeat.

The Big Island of Hawai‘i is a warm and culturally rich island—February temps are in the 80s! This retreat provides the space to ground into your body, deepen your understanding of its wisdom, and feel the healing power of living the foundations of health—leaving you with embodied insight and practical tools to carry into daily life.

When you join this retreat, you are investing in your wellbeing as a woman—dive deep into your self-care and explore island life of beach, jungle, and ocean.

About the Retreat Location

Our home for this week is an eco-retreat center located on the Hilo side of the Big Island. This 10-acre tropical organic orchard is hemmed in by jungle, lava, ocean and an old growth mango grove planted in King Kamehameha’s honor. It feels rich, alive, and sacred. The property is fully integrated with state-of-the-art solar power and water purification systems, all the amenities of an "on grid" facility: including WiFi, flush toilets, on-demand hot water, and electricity. We'll dine, al fresco, on deliciously prepared fresh, local ingredients, many of which are harvested from the property’s garden and over 30 different tree species.  It's a wholesome, unpretentious place.

No Road Access

Xinalani is only accessible by boat. Your boat transportation is included and the boat schedule is set so please fly into Puerto Vallarta before 4:00 pm and fly out after 11:00 am.

Remote Property

Xinalani is much like being on a remote island. To go to Puerto Vallarta Old Town, you'll need to take a 15 minute water taxi plus a 40 minute cab ride.

Lots of Stairs

Our retreat is built on a steep hill. There's an elevation of 215 ft from the beach to the highest point on the property. Yoga studios are 176 stairs up the hill.

Not Great Wifi

Our remote location means that telecommunication is unreliable. This can be frustrating if you're trying to check your email every 5 minutes.

The Food is Special

Xinalani takes great pride in their food. You'll be served from a menu that's designed for yogis and people who care about health and fitness.
